After the separation of the formation yelworC, mastermind Dominik van Reich presents his solo-project by the conception name amGod, called into being at the first December in 1993.
The name has got its derivation from the word “doGma” and symbolizes the first commandment (of every religion) in the inverted sense. “dogma I” = “I am God”. Similarity to “I am God” are conscious choosen. It does not connect only with Dominik van Reich himself, but also with the egotism in sense of the monotheism, of every thinking individuum.
amGod is to narcisism (morbid or conceited falling in love with oneself) very simular in the meaning. The most conflicts (like war, cruelness, ...) are the results of envy, dissatisfaction, depression, aggression, ... in our modern society. The thirst for money and luxus, and the striving of power are destroying our existence of human being.
The name amGod symbolizes that kind of behaviour and egotism.

The hard and dominant vocals of Dominik van Reich gives the music their darkening and threatening character and sets the listener into a dark nightmarish atmosphere. Three albums were published until yet:
The debut album Half Rotten And Decayed (1993) and Crime! (it was only available as download, 2000) by Celtic Circle Productions.
After 1½ years studio workout amGod released in November 2010 the new conceptual double album Dreamcatcher (alfa matrix).
Furthermore the Half Rotten And Decayed 3-CD-Box was distributed in 2005. It contains one live-CD, one live-DVD and the two albums Half Rotten And Decayed and Crime!. This release was distributed illegitimately by the label Celtic Circle Productions.

PHASE I: livE of yelworC / yelworC
[1987 - 1992]livE of yelworC in 1987 with Peter Devin. Bad conditions and simpliest technical equipment were the basis for the first musical concepts and songs.
The main content was layered in magical and mystical elements. Motivated through the electronic body scene in the 80ies, livE of yelworC produced two MC's:
RISING AS PHOENIX FROM ITS ASHES and THE MYSTERY SIDE OF DEMOCRACY.
The band name was re-named to yelworC in 1989.
yelworC produced five further MC's between 1989 - 1992:
FLASH, WARDS & INCUBATION, DIS-COVER & CON-TROL,
A.I.W.A.S.S., $ATANAT and TANATA$.
Typical EBM elements, soundtrack styles and hard, distorted vocals, built the style of that simple, but danceable sound. The musical style could be named as EBM / Industrial / Darkwave.

PHASE II: yelworC
[1992 - 1996]The album contains a variedly sound spectrum, that should respond the listeners of differently hearing habits.
Classical, experimental, commercial and futuristic sound structures, were connected to an electro / dark-synthesis. Hard and distorted vocals played a dominant rule.
In 1993, the 5-track-MCD BLOOD IN FACE was produced and likewise distributed on the label Celtic Circle Productions.
The CD was based on dancefloor-orientated material and was locked up with hard and distorted vocals. The harmonic main concept with more complex song arrangements and sound structures were a consistent continuation to BRAINSTORMING.
Dominik van Reich left the Band in 1994 and founded amGod.
Therefore the double-CD COLLECTION 1988-1994 was distributed by Celtic Circle Productions in 1995. It contains remixes, compilation-songs, live-cuts and songs of the earliest MC-production.
This CD ist the final co-operation of these both musicans.
In 1994 Dominik released also a "best of" tape called 1989 - 1991.

PHASE III: amGod
[1993 - 2005]In 1994 Dominik van Reich published his first solo-CD Half Rotten And Decayed, which was distributed by Celtic Circle Productions.
The album continues Dominik's style in a consistent way...
Dancefloor-orientated songs and tension-loaded soundtracks were transformed in a complex, song- and sound-architecture. Supported by hard and distorted vocals, combined with alternated dark sounds, the songs take the listener into their ban.
For the first time, Dominik uses harsh, distorted guitars.
After hard discrepancies with the label Celtic Circle Productions, Dominik left C.C.P.
2000 the album Crime! has been published online via Virtual Volume.
These demo songs were only a "Pre-Listen", but later C.C.P. distributed them illegitimately.
2004, C.C.P. published illegitimately the CD/DVD-Box Half Rotten And Decayed.
Dominik gave no permission to distribute the songs, artwork, content, etc.

PHASE IV: amGod
[2009 - 2011]The hard and dominant vocals of Dominik van Reich gives the music their darkly and threatening character.
After one year of studio-workout, amGod released a new double album Dreamcatcher on 26th November 2010, which argues with the abysses of mankind and the decline of today's society...
Dreamcatcher has been distributed via the belgian electro label alfa matrix. The album contains 26, respectively 39 songs (2-CD/3-CD) and should cast a spell over you! Also new songs and mixes for compilations had been recorded, as well as a lot of remixes for several bands and musicians, like:
